Hey All!
New around here, but I work for a government agency in California. Our agency provides ambulance services to our county and we are having an issue with Medi-Cal recoupments.
What we are facing is on one of our payments we got a recoupment which only had a FCN number with no other information. Calling Medi-Cal did not get us anywhere, as they just wanted us to send a letter. 2 months later we still do not have a response to the letter.
So my question is, does anyone know how to lookup recoupments with the state by the FCN number or have another way of getting this information? I feel there should definitely be an online portal and I am just missing that information.
How does your entity handle recoupments from the state?

Are you saying Medi-Cal took money back but didn't explain why? Or are you saying you received a payment for services with no explanation of who it was for?
