Hello-
I recently submitted several claims to Noridian Medicare, some of which were forwarded to Aetna who now seems to be paying some claims electronically. My provider client sent me a number of paper notices of electronic payments, with no patient names, dates of service or other EOB information. A 45 min. call to Aetna's provider services line (and it's beloved automated phone system) proved fruitless. The electronic payer services phone number it gave @ 888-247-1203 did not answer. The Aetna phone system would not allow me to speak with a live human. Calls to the Aetna corporate office were a no go...the operator said I had to call provider services (again!) All I want is the EOB information for these payments so I can post them. I'm used to this Insurance Co. run around by now, but this one is a dead end. Can anyone tell me where to go for the EOB information??

You have to sign up for Aetna ERAs. Check with your clearinghouse. Ours suggests using Enroll Hub. But I believe you can also use Availity.

Thank You - I don't know why I didn't think of that myself. :o
