Hello all,
What is your experience in facilities holding claims? I know some facilities hold bills so they don't get dinged if the policy has not met their deductible and/or out-of-pocket. I don't find this to be ethically "above board" but I'm wondering if there are any actual repercussions? I was advised previously that the insurance companies will retract/issue payments at the end of the year based on Dates of Service but it is difficult to legitimately track that.
