So I run a small car detailing setup in Al Quoz and I keep running out of space for rinse water and washing my microfiber towels properly. I've been using these old cracked jerry cans and honestly it's a mess. Someone on a detailing group mentioned that a 120 litre open top plastic drum (https://www.crateco.ae/products/120-litres-open-top-drum) would solve most of my problems since I can just dunk stuff in there and siphon the dirty water out easily. I checked a few hardware shops in Deira but they either had tiny buckets or those sealed blue barrels that you can't even open. A friend sent me a link to crateco.ae and I see they have the exact thing I had in mind, food grade apparently which is a bonus because I also want to use it for soaking my produce at home during the weekends. Before I order, has anyone actually bought from them or used this size for similar work? Is the plastic thick enough to handle being dragged around a garage floor? Also curious if the open top lid seals properly when needed because I don't want spills in my van when I transport it. Any advice from folks who've handled these drums would be great.
