Can anybody tell me which tests 80050 covers?
I thought it covered Chem8/Chem13, TSH, CBC, Lipids and LFT, thats how i have been billing it.

Hi:

Procedure Code 80050 is an Multi-test Laboratory Panel
Includes Thyroid stimulating hormones (84443)
Includes Complete blood count (CBC) automated and appropriate manual differential WBC count (85007, 85009, 85027)
Includes Complete blood count with differential (CBC) (85004, or 85025, 85027)
Includes Comprehensive metabolic profile OR (80053)

Either You can Bill The Listed CPT's In each Line or you can use 80050 instead of billing these lines.

Insurance will pay us for the panel or for the seperate lines.
