Hello,

Everyone,  I am new to this site I am working as a collector and biller for a medical billing company in Florida that specializes in drug and alcohol rehad as well as utilization review. This is a new specialty for me so I am somewhat nervous. anyone have any info for me to learn how it is billed and paid according to Medicare guidelines here in Florida.

Well I find it refreshing that you are going out on your own trying to educate yourself.  If they are billing for any facilities you may find that you need to use UB04's as well as CMS 1500 forms.  They should provide you with all the training you will need but it's great to do your own research as well.  Do you have a background in the medical field?
