All,

One of the  physician group approached me for to handle the Medicaid Secondary collections. I was just wondering if its the right assignment to take as the Medicaid reimburse lowest of all insurance companies however the payment cycle is quick. This will be for NY region and would appreciate if you could give some insight to this.

This will be only for Medicaid Secondary and left overs of Primary payers..AT this point in time i dont have further information.

Since this is NY you can't charge a % so, yes I would rate this job as any other. Quote an hourly rate so that you get paid for all your work.
