I know office notes have to be signed by the provider no signature stamps must be hand signed.
my question is
1) Does the superbills or fee slips have to be signed by the doctor?
2) Can the superbills/fee slip have a signature stamped and the doctor initial them?
The superbills/fee slips prints with all the office information at the top, also prints the pt information and dx.. then the doctor marks off the procedure codes..
I have 2 doctors that signs them and I have another doctor that does not sign his fee slips but all the other paper work in the chart is signed such as office notes, clinical, treatment plans, exams etc..
Please advise... Thanks!

For my clients both daysheets and superbills need to have the dr's stamp, for the larger clients I have with a certified coder, she initials them under the signature stamp.
