Bit of a long shot but here goes. I've got a 2009 Land Cruiser that's been in the family for years and it's sitting at around 340,000 km now. It still runs fine mostly but it's at that stage where things need attention regularly and I'm terrified of handing it to someone who'll cut corners or use cheap parts on it. My concern with older vehicles is that some workshops just want to patch things up to get you out the door, and then three weeks later you're back with the same problem. What I really want is a place that actually tells me what's worth fixing and what's just age related wear I can live with. If any of you have experience with high mileage Japanese SUVs and found somewhere that handles them properly, I'd genuinely appreciate hearing about it.
