procedure code 99483

for this code 99483 you cannot bill with inital or follow up code for the 3 required visits do you bill the 99483 x3?

I'm not sure what you mean by the "initial or follow up" code.  The 99483 is not meant to be billed with units.  The code description states"...typically 50 minutes are spent face-to-face ..." but it is not a timed code.  Why are you trying to bill 3 units?  Is it 3 separate visits on the same day?
