IOP group session at the park?!

Hello! I am questioning services that are rendered at another location, is our facility able to bill for that?  We run a Juvenile IOP program, and some of the groups will include a trip to the zoo, park, etc.  Am I able to bill for that service even tho it didnt happen at the facility? These are Medicaid clients I am questioning.   Thank you and excited I found this group!

I am not aware of any place of service code that would cover this.  They do have "unlisted" place of service codes.  You could try that.  But whether or not Medicaid would cover it is the question.  Have you tried calling Medicaid to ask?
