Our local major insurer has stopped paying for Venofer infusions. They say there is something wrong with the NDC # but it's the same 11 digit number I've been billing for years. It's the same that's on the vial. Anyone else run into this issue. Regence is the insurer in WA state.

Is it possible that they want the NDC on the box, and not the vial, if that is how you get the Venofer? Do you possibly need to add an EDI Note to the claim?

Thanks for the message. I'll look at the box - but if I recall correctly, the box ndc is the same as the vials inside.
