Test info to practice on
« on: March 05, 2020, 04:06:36 AM »
I need dummy patient info so I can practice entering in data into Office Ally.  I learn better doing rather than watching videos.  Is there any way to get test info of patients and providers and whatnot to enter in?

Whenever I have learned a new EMR/PM system, we have always just created "Test" patients to practice entering into the systems. I don't know of any way to get dummy patient info, short of creating fake "Test" patients on your own.

Thanks!  Do you have any other recommendations on how I can practice learning Office Ally?  I'd really like to increase my learning of the program fast :)

When we need to "practice" we just made up dummy patients.  Literally just made them up.  I recently saw someone "practicing" in their new EHR and the patient was Brett Favre who lived at 1234 Superbowl Way.  You don't have to have real data.  If it's easier, make a demographics sheet and actually hand fill some out.  Then you can use them as "actual patients" instead of making it up as you input them.  :)
