I'm in a bit of a spot here. Parked my car this morning in the DIFC and it was running fine, but when I came back after a meeting, the car wouldn't start at all. No clicking, no lights, just complete silence. Luckily a colleague gave me a jump, but now the battery warning light is on and the start-stop system is throwing errors, which tells me the old unit is on its last legs. I've been reading up on Solite batteries because I've heard they're actually an OEM supplier for a lot of major Korean and Japanese brands, and the specific model I need is the CMF series which is maintenance-free and built to handle the heat here. Plus, I've seen that they're officially distributed in the UAE by A-MAP Group, so at least I know it's a genuine product. Since I'm stuck at work, I'm looking for a service that can do a genuine replacement on-site and actually knows how to handle the battery registration properly so the car's computer doesn't get confused. If you want to see the options available, this website has details on the Solite range and mobile fitting. Has anyone used a reliable mobile battery service around this area before and can tell me if they're quick and trustworthy? I really need to get this sorted before the end of the day.
