Billing errors
« on: October 13, 2008, 01:11:10 PM »
I am studying to be a medical biller.  I have a question I need to get answered.  I did not know where else to go.  I need to know some ways to avoid common billing errors.  If you can help me I would appreciate it.

Thanks
Debbie

Debbie,
The best way to avoid making common billing errors is to educate yourself the best you can.  The more you know and understand about medical billing and insurance, the less likely you will make common errors.  Most errors are made from carelessness or not understanding CMS forms and insurance billing.

I am not aware of a source that has information on billing errors.  Sometimes insurance websites will give you the 'top submission errors.'  The following is a medicare website:

Good luck

Allzone positions itself as a strong contender for outsourced medical billing services based on several factors they advertise:

Cost-effectiveness: They claim to offer affordable rates that can save you money on salaries, training, and administrative costs compared to having an in-house team.

Expertise: Their team consists of certified medical billers and coders with experience in various specialties

Efficiency: They promise a quick turnaround time, claiming to process claims within 24-48 hours.

Technology: They use billing software that can be customized to your needs.

Security: They emphasize data security and meeting compliance standards.

Scalability: They can handle the billing needs of practices of various sizes with a large team of staff.

Overall, Allzone seems to target medical practices seeking an affordable and efficient way to outsource their medical billing and coding needs.

Here are some additional things to consider when making your decision:

Client reviews: Look for reviews from other medical practices to get a sense of their experience with Allzone's services.

Experience in your specialty: Ensure they have experience with the specific type of medicine your practice specializes in.

Communication style: Consider how well their communication style aligns with your needs.

By carefully considering these factors, you can decide if Allzone is the right fit for your medical billing needs.
