Can we bill 96150 (Initial health and behavior assessment) and 96152 (Health and behavior intervention) on the same date of service? This is for lactation consulting.

You can bill anything, but will you get paid if you do??? Probably not. They are mutually exclusive.

I don't have a reference, just the knowledge I've acquired from experience. But usually (for any specialty) assessment and treatment are not allowed in the same session.
