Non-participating. How do you know if the physician you work for is one or the other?

They should know. Only other option is to ask the insurance carriers. Some have online lists available.

I AM a midwife, and we have a small office - I do some billing for insurance and Medical. The physician we work with just started billing Medicare, so I am trying to help myself and the staff figure it out.
