All of my mental health clients are credentialed with MHNet  I have a 50/50 opinion of them. LOL

ok great!    What exactly are your opinions?   Do they require precert for visits, typically, and is there alot of paperwork involved and/or lengthy wait times to get precerts?

My impression was that they didn't allow much for visits.  I'm pretty sure I've seen eobs from them allowing only $40 for a 90806.  I don't know much else about them.

We have negotiated a rather fair fee.   I am wondering about the paperwork for precertifications and how long they take to get information to providers.

MHN will negotiate depending on region. Yes they require authorizations and OTR's but no more than the others. Of all the ones I do I find Magellan to be the pain in the rear, they are forever losing OTR's and take forever to send in authorization and they even give you an auth that won't match up to the one they mail to you.

I agree about Magellan.  As for 2011, I have not had to deal with them much so far.   Thanks for the information on MHNet.
