Yes, you will want the new 2013 code books (CPT) If your provider is an MD (Psychiatrist) you will find they are able to utilize more E/M and therapy codes ill be replaced and used in ADDITION to the therapy code.
Just a tip, but I have had all my mental health providers DITCH their DSM books. You will have some argue and say there's no diff between the DSM and ICD9 but indeed there are. There are actually over 149 differences now. I don't care if they use it internally but not for coding of their superbills and/or daysheets. Medicare will actually reject many of the DSM diagnosis.
