Hi All, I'll try to keep this as brief as possible, but I'm in serious need of help here! Long story short, I was asked by a psychologist to take over his medical billing as he wasn't happy with his current biller. I had NO experience but have done other work for this Dr. and wanted to help out. So I had partnered with a couple who had previously owned a successful medical billing company, but were now retired. I THOUGHT I was making a good move, but turns out, it was a disaster and we ended our partnership a few months ago after a few months of working together. Since then, I am struggling BIG time with some issues with claims (so far most have resolved easily but some I fear won't) and now it's a new year, new rules, new eligibility checking, etc. I am using Office Ally only and doing things manually with regards to claims checking and verification of benefits, and this is taking me WAY more time than I had thought, and isn't very cost effective due to my learning curve. Currently, the dr has not given me billing for Dec. or January yet, and I'm thinking this is a good time to reach out and see if anyone is looking to either help out to do this together, or possibly take over for this Dr. who is a great guy and deserves every penny he can get.
I appreciate your time and please let me know if you are interested...
Thanks,
Ilene Reynolds

P.S. He does approx. 40 - 80 claims per month (the last 2 months were minimal).
