I'm sorry, this is one of reasons I don't answer coding questions..
You put in subject "Billing 99354" and your post said " still waiting for someone to help me". Now I'm intelligent enough to gather you asked a question somewhere else in the forum within the many forum topics there are, but to be quite honest, not many of us have the time to do a deep search to find your original question.. just a preliminary search of 99354 brings up a few by you to which there were answers but NOT enough info given to be anymore specific. When you are looking for coding information you must be THOROUGH in every post to ask your question rather than assume everyone has lots of time to do a search to find the original question. Use the Quote buttons in your post so that we can see what you are responding to or adding to, try to use the same topic as well to respond if we need more info. Also remember that only an experienced coder should be coding from the supporting documentation. We here on the forum are not privy to the medical record which is NECESSARY in many cases to code!. You should also remember that if you are not a certified coder and you don't have one in your office, you need to send back the encounter to the provider for proper coding and that's to protect YOU as much as it is the provider. Still there is NOT enough info to really guide you, but here is the same link I posted elsewhere that may shed some light on modifiers with the E/M codes
