PMRNC:
BALLS?

I have to say I have been VERY Lucky or Blessed.. All of my clients have always had great staff, I think I've only worked with one office staff that was uncooperative but that was in the beginning and they were just uneasy about maybe losing their jobs, once they settled down and realized I was lifting a load off them and freeing them up for other things in the office they were fine. I did have one client that I ALMOST signed but I backed out because his wife was fighting the transition from the very beginning and I knew she was going to be trouble.

Pay_My_Claims:
I felt that way back in 2005 when I had a company come to the office looking for my provider to outsource. It was the first time I really heard about medical billing services.

Michele:
Wrong  -  I was thinking NUTS.

Michele:
Yeah, I get that.  We have the same thing but we always try very hard to assure the person we are going to work together to maximize the offices receivables, etc, etc.   After things settle in and they aren't nervous about their job, they relax.

PMRNC:
Very true Michele, that's the first thing I do.. I make sure the OM or biller has their mind put to ease. I even let them know I'll make them look even better. I have no problem with the office manager getting the kudos, they are the one's to go in and work side by side with the doctors anyway so I always let them know I'm there to make them look even better :)

Too often I read new billers wanting to know how to get past the office manager and my advice.. DON'T!!
