chosing specialty to bill

Gen surg...you should be able to do gen med, and other sub specialties. If you feel queery do some research on other specialties (Medicare/medicaid) guidelines in your state will help you get familiar with DX and billing issues. When you stumble on something just ask ...everyone is here to help, but also research it as well. Learn from a denial. We all get them. There is no cut out for billing. You will always have a scenario that you never encountered before.

Charlene is right on the money, to add to that. You will still have someone continue to code. Do not offer coding services unless you are certified and/or have extensive experience.
