I try as much as possible to use my client's existing practice management software. Most of these can be logged into remotely. For my part time clients who don't have such software I do use Office Ally / Practice Mate, it's a pretty good system, and the price fits my budget (free!)

McKesson has sold Lytec to e-MDs.  Note that e-MDs has recently hired a former McKesson executive as its new CEO.

Thanks for the info on Lytec, everybody!  It looks like they want to go web based, so they are looking at Kareo.  Practice mate is still having issues with timing out or not working at all.  Very frustrating!

Yes, thanks RichardP.  I had heard about these changes shortly after you had given me the headsup several weeks ago.  It will be interesting to see what's going to happen.  We've been using Lytec for 23 years!

Thank you all I want to have a system in place that if and when a client doesn't have a existing software or want me to use my software then I will have something in place .My plan was to use practice mate /office alley if I needed to .
